pharveybtw gac410, what do you think of the new TinyMCE look... too blingy? Maybe I'll make it a preference setting :) [03:44]
gac410ooh... have not tried it yet - I dig a git svn rebase earlier tonight ...
gac410 looks
not bad at all. Are the icons a bit smaller? i don't think it's too blingy.
[03:45]
pharveyIt's called the o2k7 theme
I guess inspired by office2007
[03:47]
gac410Hmmm some strangeness though. I have a topic with 3 small tables. Clicking on the 2nd table puts the 4 small square draggable corners up in the upper left of the edit window instead of over the table. [03:48]
pharveygac410: can you take a screenshot? [03:49]
gac410Clicking in the table a 2nd time puts them in the right place, then clicking outside the table moves them to a strange location. ... sure [03:49]
pharveyI guess more importantly, the topic text
I just tried it and worksforme :(
oh
gac410: you might need to clean your TinyMCEPlugin directory
so the .gz are re-generated
and then re-pseudo-install
[03:49]
gac410okay.
yup - that fixed it!
[03:50]
pharveycool [03:55]
gac410looks good pharvey - I don't use the wysiwyg editor a lot - but don't see anything unusual. [03:56]
pharveythanks
and what browser are you testing with
[03:57]
gac410FF 3.6.20
Also Chromium 14.0.835.163
Unfortunately doesn't fix Item10288

jaysoningelsHi there. Does anyone know how to install the CrossTopicPlugin on foswiki 1.1.3? I cannot find it on the extentions page on our foswiki installation... [07:02]
CDotjaysoningels: never heard of it. What does it do?
CDot notes that Google has never heard of it either. A googleblatt! Long time since I had one of those.
[07:05]
jaysoningelsoh, sorry, I meant to say CrossTopicDiffPlugin. It gives a comparison report between two topics, or two webs. [07:11]
CDotlooks like it was never released
however it *is* in subversion
it builds OK.
[07:15]
jaysoningelsso would it be best to manually install it? [07:17]
CDotyes. I built a package and attached it to http://foswiki.org/Tasks/Item1404 for you to play with. [07:19]
jaysoningelsthank you CDot! [07:20]

Alexander__MichaelDaum: Good morning...does everything run with solr and utf-8 on your system? [07:42]
MichaelDaumhaha :( [07:42]
Alexander__so what are the problems you have? [07:43]
MichaelDaumI've got solr behave well defined now using an utf8 foswiki ... changes still need to be tested on a non-utf8 foswiki [07:43]
Alexander__so what did you change on solr to work with an utf8 foswiki? [07:44]
MichaelDaumfirst thing I changed as you did as well: remove encode in WebService::Solr as it was assuming strings not being utf8 yet
then I fixed StringifierContrib's view on utf8ness to make all plugins convert to utf8 ... not a mixture depending on the filetype
on the way I found that stringifying txt files with a BOM char failed to remove the marker thus booming solr
[07:44]
Alexander__ah ok, but stringifier contrib isn´t handling topic data, right? [07:47]
MichaelDaumyes. no it doesnt. [07:47]
Alexander__what means BOM? [07:47]
MichaelDaumByte Order Mark [07:48]
Alexander__ok [07:49]
MichaelDaumsee http://perldoc.perl.org/perlunicode.html and search for BOM
next problem in SolrPlugin: topic text and attachment content were treated differently. there always was a SMELL marker at the problematic code
[07:49]
Alexander__do you have a code line for me? [07:51]
MichaelDaumspell corrections needed a fix as well
thats more of a 262 lines diff
[07:51]
Alexander__ok, i see
what about our strange double encoded search result response. can you explain that behaviour?
[07:51]
MichaelDaummy poor laptop is about to reindex my wiki ... for the next round of tests [07:52]
Alexander__haha [07:52]
MichaelDaumdunno about double encodedness
I am pretty sure that once the encode('utf8', $xml) in WebService::Solr has been removed, things got worse for non-utf8 wikis, as everything send to solr needs to be converted to utf8 one level higher now...which of course depends on the wiki being utf8 or not. so more to come ...
[07:53]
***MartinRowe has joined #foswiki [07:56]
Alexander__hmmm... we switched everything to utf-8... [07:57]
MichaelDaumof course. thats the way to go.
not all clients do for now.
[07:58]
Alexander__and we get search results
but as you can see in the screenshots i sent, we get a wrong search response
and that´s what i don´t get
[07:58]

MichaelDaumpharvey, hehe. nother piece of FUD debunked [08:02]
Alexander__home = hmm :) [08:02]

Alexander__can you just provide a patch, that we can test it as well? [08:04]
MichaelDaumhow about a svn checkin? [08:04]
Alexander__did you checked it in? [08:05]
MichaelDaumno I am still testing before checking in rubbish [08:06]
Alexander__ok...if you want us to test as well you could just provide the fromUtf8 and toUtf8 methods as code snipets... :) [08:11]

been watching their automatic classification video to see how to make use of it in ClassificationPlugin
strange thing: if a document is in Sports::Football with probability X, the in is in category Sports with at least probability X as well. though the video shows something different
