dj_segfaultHI. I have a user with a very strange problem. somebody else created a nasty A$$ page with a huge HTML tale (that is, using <table> and every cell having an ugly style, etc). When this user edits that page from hell then tries to save or close it, she gets a dialog box saying "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave - data you have entered may not be saved". Whether she clicks "Stay on Page" or "L [05:33]
pharveydo they normally edit in wysiwyg?
is it latest TinyMCEPlugin/WysiwygPlugin?
[05:36]
dj_segfaultYes, they do. I never do, though. I think this server is still 1.14. Lemme check
Yup. I didn't upgrade it yet
TinyMCEPlugin (1.2.7, $Rev: 14671 (2012-04-27) $): Integration of the Tiny MCE WYSIWYG Editor
WysiwygPlugin (1.1.13, $Rev: 14952 (2012-06-05) $): Translator framework for WYSIWYG editors
[05:50]
I'm guessing it has to do with parsing the HTML on the page. But wait, doesn't the WYSIWYG editors write HTML tables instead of wiki tables anyway? [06:00]

OliverSchaub@CDot: Hi, short question about NativeSearchContrib on a 64bit Linux-System... we get Segmentation-Faults when using Regular-Expressions. We had troubles compiling pcre. Is this somehow a known Issue? [09:30]
CDotOliverSchaub: not that I'm aware; but I have never tried to compile on a 64-bit system. [09:33]
OliverSchaubIt somehow works from within the wiki (fastcgi) but fails when run from a console (cronjobs). I don't remember the exact errors we got while compiling... I'll try it again and note it down. [09:36]

MartinKaufmannMichaelDaum: Picking up our discussion from last week: You mentioned that the js & css of SolrPlugin have to be minified. I wasn't aware of that.
I could only find one Makefile in pub/System/SolrPlugin.
Running it, I only get "make: `ajax-solr' is up to date."

JoeMarandolaUpgraded from Foswiki 1.1.5 to 1.1.6 via normal method (simply uppacked tgz package and copied contents to my wiki folder). This is same method used upgrading since 1.0. For some reason, groups remained intact, but Admin group was only Admin User and did not include the admin users we had identified. Did we forget something? [23:26]
gac410Hm The AdminGroup topic should not have been included in the upgrade package. I assume you used the Foswiki-upgrade-1.1.6 package and not Foswiki-1.1.6 package
I just checked the Upgrade package. The AdminGroup topic was not included. I have no idea why you would lose the contents of that group.
[23:28]
JoeMarandolaAh, I think now that is where I messed up. Now I have to wonder what else I may have wiped out. [23:29]
gac410see http://foswiki.org/Development/BuildingARelease#Make_upgrade_packages for a list of what we normally exclude. [23:30]
JoeMarandolaI have a total backup of my original system from this morning. If I restore all but the "data" and "pub" directories, then re-do the upgrade, I should be fine, true? [23:40]
gac410Well, I don't think you need to do that... That won't help
It's data/Main, data/System, data/Sandbox and pub/... that you overlayed.
Restore your backup to someplace else, and then copy over files, like Main/WebPreferences.txt*, Main/AdminGroup.txt*, from your original install into the new system.
If you have not done a lot of tailoring, it's mostly the WebHome, WebPreferences, and other Web* topics that you need to restore to before the upgrade
[23:41]
JoeMarandolagot it. We were looking at that list and thinking that before. There are that many since we don't have to worry about Sandbox (which had a lot). [23:44]
gac410The only Sanbox topic this time around we actually recommended updating was WebHome.txt. 1.1.6 has a better topic create dialog. [23:44]
