Igor_Hi everybody I'm trying to install Foswiki on Centos server (SElinux disabled, apache server already running for another application), but I stick since days on basics apache errors like (13)Permission denied: exec of '/www/foswiki/index.html' failed. [13:23]
jastyou probably have set overzealous filesystem permissions
only a few very specific files should be marked as executable
[13:23]
Igor_ok, can you be more precise with "few very specific"? (I 'chmoded' quite a lot..) [13:28]
important: since the browser couldn't open the configure file, accoridng to manual I edited the httpd.conf by hand (Virtual Host). No inculde files [13:36]
ModAcOstDid you create a apache config with ApacheConfigGenerator? [13:48]
Igor_No, I chose the 'conservative way' [13:55]

foswiki_irc3What do I have to do so foswiki recognizes a twiki plugin(I want to use BugzillaQueryPlugin)?
I have enabled TWikiCompatibilityPlugin, and dropped BugzillaQueryPlugin.pm into /var/lib/foswiki/lib/TWiki and BugzillaQueryPlugin.txt into /var/lib/foswiki/data/TWiki/
Set the correct file permissions, but the configure GUI does not see the extension.
Are there docs anywhere how to enable twiki plugins under foswiki (my googlefoo was too weak)?
I am kind of shooting in the dark here... *sigh*
anybody on here at all?

jastcurrently beefing up SafeWikiPlugin... and its parser is doing very creative things to my page layout [16:16]
synced the autoClose list over from WysiwygPlugin... looks much better now [16:27]

gigglesworthI am at the page "Install and Update Extensions" ( /bin/configure?action=FindMoreExtensions ). That page is unable to download plugin information from foswiki.org. It says "Consulted locations: Foswiki.org. Error accessing Foswiki.org: Not Found". I have no problem reaching foswiki.org from the Linux commandline. Selinux is not enabled.
How can I download the plugin list from foswiki.org ?
[18:30]
I think I fixed my problem. The variable ExtensionsRepositories was set to this by default "$Foswiki::cfg{ExtensionsRepositories} = 'Foswiki.org=(http://foswiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/,http://foswiki.org/p/pub/Plugins/)", If I hit " use default", that value will be set to "Foswiki.org=(http://foswiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/,http://foswiki.org/p/pub/Plugins/)". Now my Foswiki installation can download a list of plugins from [18:41]
