jastis syncing to github still working? [08:10]
CDotDunno - I checked in to svn last night, not seen any messages [08:22]
..... (idle for 24mn)
JulianLevensIt doesn't look right to me latest commit in github was 20 days ago by MichaelDaum rev 16877 and svn is now at 16885
And 20 days ago is when gmc & Babar mucked about with the server :o
[08:46]
Babaroh...
so I broke that too. Awesome
[08:49]

SvenDowideitconsidering that you can svn checkout from github
and the github 'driveby' contribution pull request model works so well
could we just move to github?
(plus a github trigger thingy?)
[09:30]
.............. (idle for 1h7mn)
BabarSvenDowideit: that's been on my TODO list for... 3 years now? :( [10:39]
SvenDowideitna, your todo was to move to git.f.o
i say stuff that, goto gihub

jastwriting new hooks isn't straightforward
I'm working on git hooks for some of our internal stuff, and there are plenty of complicated cases due to the way git's branches work
[11:06]
CDotWe could survive without the hooks and use cron jobs instead IFF we could trust people not to commit fucked-up code (such as 2-space indentation)
I'd actually be happy to see the back of the perltidy constraint - I find it a PITA
[11:12]

BabarCDot: I pushed for it, I can remove it. I think it did it share, which was force people to act. Now if it's impacting development, it can be reviewed [12:47]
CDotNo, it's not really impacting development, it's just a bit of a nuisance. You were right to push for it, you couldn't have seen the perltidy problems we now fac
viz. that the server version and the local version I have produce completely different formatted output :-(
CDot reckons the perltidy folks need shooting for not maintaining compatibility between versions

andreliHello Foswiki
We are running Foswiki since years, using it as Intranet platform and Internet content authoring system
Over two clustered Foswiki installations we operate several hundred webs with 40'000 Topics
Why am I telling this here?

..... (idle for 24mn)
phrykI can't figure out what the $fastcgi_* variables are supposed to be. The linked nginx tutorial has those too and don't mentions them. But when I use them literally like a variable, the test for reloading nginx fails. :/ [18:38]

foswiki_irc7Hello, I'm trying to set up FosWiki on a Raspberry Pi running with Raspbian. I've got some errors from apt-get durring install. Are there any principle problems getting it running? Jens [20:08]
