uebera||Hi there :) In a locale/*.po file, I'd like to insert soft hyphens () in order to obtain a nicer linebreak--is there a way to ensure that &s is not rendered using the "foswikiAccessKey" class? [example: msgid "Register" (which is used in WebLeftBarLogin.txt) msgstr "Re&gist&rie&ren" ] [07:18]
....... (idle for 33mn)
Nevermind, must have been a cache problem, "&&" does behave as documented. Interestingly, even if is not rendered, Firefox now won't put a linebreak before the word. [07:51]

Leila2Quick question. Is there a macro that will return the web name in ParentWeb.Subweb format? Instead of with a slash between them? [16:32]
gac410Leila2: I don't think so. The slash is a required part of web/subweb format. The period is only used to delimit the topic name. [16:33]
Leila2Trying to provide users with an easy way to subscribe to a whole web. the SUBSCRIBE macro seems to expect the format Web.Subweb.* if you want to do this.
Interesting observation. If I type %WEB% in a subweb I'll see Web/Subweb - but if I type [[%WEB%.WebHome][%WEB%]] the link name is shown as Web.Subweb
[16:34]

gac410I suspect some bugs here. SUBSCRIBE should really use slash delim between web/subweb components. The web.subweb is wrong. [16:38]
Leila2Lots of inconsistencies here then. For example if you want to create a new subweb you specify it as web.subweb on the web creation page. [16:39]
gac410This gets a bit difficult because a subweb name can also be a topic name. Ie you can have Web.Subweb (a topic) and Web/Subweb (a web)
There is a lot of history here I suspect. At one point slash was even legal in a topic name. But when subwebs were created, it became illegal. Migrating old sites from TWiki v2 / v3 era can be challenging.
But I agree. The delimiters should really be very consistent throughout the various uses. subscribe, web creator, etc.
[16:39]
Leila2I haven't made much use of subwebs before, but I'm looking to add some now because we have lots of top level webs (every department at least wants one) and within departments they want different access controls for some sections of their webs. [16:42]
gac410If you can, please open a task. See Tasks/SubWebs It doesn't look like anyone else has picked up on these inconsistencies.
And blast... mtempest has corrupted Tasks/WebHome :P
[16:44]
Leila2Okay. Will do. Thanks. [16:46]
gac410mtempest. If you are looking for your EasyMacroPlugin task, It had replaced Tasks.WebHome. I created Item12929 for you and reverted WebHome. [16:51]

uebera||Ugh, is BatchUploadPlugin broken? I won't recognize that I want to upload/attach the _contents_ of a .zip (and I also don't see the option to take the comments from the archive I once added)... another TODO.
s /I won't/It won't/ :p
