as there are multiple pdf plugins for foswiki, it would be nice to have some recomondation / information in matters of choosing one to install

foswiki_irc4Hello, anyone out there has the new version of Foswiki (2.1.0) in .deb?

jastsorry, nobody is maintaining deb packages right now [12:38]
MichaelDaumEisNerd, GenPDFWeasyPrintPlugin is the best open source htm-to-pdf converter
GenPDFPrincePlugin is close source, pay for commercial use software, also excellent
weasyprint can be a bit slow
princexml is pretty fast
princexml does deal well with position:fixed elements ... as used for watermarks and such
I'd choose one of those two
^princexml does NOT deal well with position:fixed^
you can only do watermarks properly using weasyprint
I th-th-think princexml has got better hyphenation, which is most useful for justified texts and multi-column layouts ... as in scientific papers
