rathierHi there. I've got problems indexing image-attachments with the solr-plugin. When runnning ./solrindex web=System in $foswikiinstall/tools/ I get al lot of errors regarding image-files:
ERROR: 400 Bad Request: {"responseHeader":{"status":400,"QTime":6},"error":{"metadata":["error-class","org.apache.solr.common.SolrException","root-error-class","org.apache.solr.common.SolrException"],"msg":"ERROR: [doc=System.ActionTrackerPlugin.logo.png] unknown field 'width'","code":400}} at /var/www/foswiki/lib/WebService/Solr.pm line 203.
[09:29]
MichaelDaumrathier, you need to update the configuration of solr
cp <foswiki>/solr/configsets/foswiki_configs/conf/* /var/solr/data/configsets/foswiki_configs/conf/
[09:31]
rathierMichaelDaum: The configuration from the plugin has been copied from the plugin to the solr-directory [09:33]
MichaelDaumnow restart the solr service [09:35]
rathierMichaelDaum: yes, that worked... Sorry, I thought, I had copied that already. [09:44]
MichaelDaumyw :) [09:45]
rathierMaybee I overlooked permission-problems, when I copied it the first time...
MichaelDaum: Thanks for the help anyway :-)
[09:45]
MichaelDaumthat's why we are hanging around here [09:47]
schueleGreetings! We have a problem with the latest versions of Foswiki and SolrPlugin (all required dependencies met): we use pattern skin and AutoTemplatePlugin (ViewTemplate Rules sets: 'WebSearch' => 'SolrSearchView'), the preview of search results in the top bar search window works but: WebSearch does not show search any search results (but no. of results/facets, so it does find results!) schueleproblem was: pub/System/JQMomentContrib/ and JQTwistyContrib wer not installed in the pub directory, foswiki configure did not show any problems, the browser debugging tools helped us pinpoint the issue, deinstallation and re-installation of both contribs fixed the problem! [12:57]
gac410interesting issue. indeed, configure does not have any sort off Manifest verifier that can tell you if something is missing. I wonder how the pieces end up missing.
Unfortunately we don't ship the MANIFEST files with extensions. They are buried in the _installer files in the working/configure/pkgdata directory, but not everyone keeps them.

LynnwoodI was just reflecting on options to insert explanatory comments into my foswiki code. I use to use the syntax in GluePlugin to do this but since I've pretty much stopped using it, I realize that there really isn't much of an option to do this. To work, it needs to simply remove the comment during rendering without affecting the code around it. [15:53]
gac410See the feature request. Will be part of 2.2 ;)

gac410cdot, MichaelDaum_ could you review the solution at the very end of Foswiki:Support/Question1873 ... Clearly looks like a bug, but why oh why is this person the only one impacted. [15:59]

gac410And I hate to say it but even though I've read through the RFCs and his solution, I'm not quite sure where to actually make the change. :( [16:10]

cdotgac410: beyond me, I'm afraid. RFC's make me come over all faint. [17:03]
gac410y. I just could not recreate his issue. Even installed a centos system using his lighttpd config and had no issues. Really strange.
I hope he comes back and posts a diff for us.

gac410 wonders if it's a specific version of lighttpd that's having the trouble. I'm using lighttpd/1.4.35, centos 7 has 1.4.45, his system was 1.4.41. [17:20]
