zak256Hi gac410, I just analysed some mysterious problem and finally found something. [12:56]
gac410hi zak256 [12:57]
zak256My setup is, that I moved some directories, like PubDir into another path.
So I set PubDir to /path/pub/
But, PubUrlPath is still set to /wiki/pub
[12:57]
gac410yes. You have to change that in the apache configuration. [12:58]
zak256Because in the URL I access the wiki with host.domain.suffix/wiki/pub/
Yes, in httpd.conf it says:
[12:58]
gac410PubDir path is the file system path for backend I/O. PubUrlPath is the path generated in links. [12:59]
zak256<Directory "/path/wiki/pub">
hmm
This would be wrong then of course.
[13:00]
***ChanServ sets mode: +o Lynnwood [13:02]
zak256Okay... I think now I see it. /path/wiki/ is actually the path to my foswiki-directory, but I made a copy of all directories where changes are made to /path/ [13:02]
gac410There are 3 components ... 2 in the LocalSite, one in the Web Server. {PubDir} is the file system path so perl can read/write the files. {PubUrlPath} is so foswiki generates the correct URLs to access the files. and WebServer config has to allow that access. [13:02]
zak256Yes, I understand. [13:03]
jastthe <Directory> block is only part of what defines which filesystem path the URL path is mapped to [13:05]
zak256Exactly... I forgot that this does not match with my intention of keeping some directories somewhere else. :( [13:06]
jastin fact the <Directory> block doesn't define the mapping, it just tells Apache what options/conditions to apply to requests once it has already determined that they need to go to that particular filesystem path [13:06]
***ChanServ sets mode: +o Lynnwood__ [13:06]
jastI believe the Foswiki config generator produces 'Alias' directives to define the actual mapping [13:06]
gac410right jast ... I forgot about that. Right. It's an alias. [13:06]
zak256And then because I did not move the pub directory but copied it, it was still found, but when I put an additional file in my new pubdir, something really strange happened: Apache got the file but returned a 404. [13:07]

gac410MichaelDaum: I noticed that some of your extensions have broken links. You are using [[Foswiki:Web.Topic]] style interwiki links. That doesn't work. It's either an explicit link supported by the core render engine [[ ]]. or a InterwikiLink supported by InterwikiPlugin :( [14:48]
FoswikiBothttps://foswiki.org/Web.Topic]] [14:48]
gac410I don't think they could ever be mixed.
JQPhotoSwipeContrib and JQPrettyPhotoContrib both do that.
WTF.... Now I can't find the broken links.
Oh crap... never mind Michael. My site was broken.
[14:48]
***ChanServ sets mode: +o Lynnwood__ [14:53]
MichaelDaum:) [14:53]
gac410We really need InterWikiPlugin to allow a "list" of topics to be merged. So that you can easily extend the System.InterWikis rather than replace it ... and preserve stale lnks in an old copy. [14:58]
.............. (idle for 1h5mn)
BigKittyIs there a tool to list wiki pages and the last date of update? Is this a plugin? [16:03]
gac410It can be done with %SEARCH macro Similar to the WebChanges implementation. [16:04]
It could also be done with the %TOPICLIST macro. Here is an example:
%TOPICLIST{"  * $web.$topic: $percntREVINFO{$quot$date$quot web=$quot$web$quot topic=$quot$topic$quot}$percnt$n"}%
It can also be written this way: %TOPICLIST{" * $web.$topic: $percntREVINFO{\"$date\" web=\"$web\" topic=\"$topic\"}$percnt$n"}%
That's easier to understand than the $quot substitution.
See Foswiki:System.VarREVINFO for other format tokens
[16:18]
FoswikiBothttps://foswiki.org/System.VarREVINFO [ VarREVINFO ] [16:21]
gac410You could also render it as a sortable table:
| *Topic* | *Modified Date* |
%TOPICLIST{"| $web.$topic | $percntREVINFO{\"$date\" web=\"$web\" topic=\"$topic\"}$percnt |"}%
Hope that helps. I've got to run out.
[16:25]
BigKittyThanks! [16:31]
