gac410MichaelDaum: On the UpdatesPlugin. I think that there is a bug in the JS.
If the json array returned by the "check" handler is > 1 entry, it's saving the count rather than the list of plugins into the cookie.
But my js skills are about as good as my css skills ... non-existent
So with only one extension backlevel, the cookie data shows "FilterPlugin" But with 11 extensions backlevel, the cookie data says "11"
And for this extension, as you mentioned, We need to comment out the cookie domain override, and let it default to the host.domain. rather than using the override.

Lynnwood__Greetings all - [14:13]
gac410Hi Lynnwood__ [14:13]
Lynnwood__I was just reading Development.TinyMCEPlugin and notice comments to the effect "As of TinyMCEPlugin 2.0, Foswiki uses the TinyMCE distribution without any modifications." [14:14]
gac410Yes. [14:14]
Lynnwood__g'day gac410 :-) [14:14]
gac410This isn't released yet - It's on trunk.foswiki.org [14:14]
Lynnwood__very interesting... [14:15]
gac410cdot did all the work. I just fixed the developers docs and pulled in the latest release [14:15]
Lynnwood__So it's running near-to-latest?
Nice...
[14:15]
gac410y. latest 4.6.7 was released on Sept. 18th, I pulled just a couple of days before - 4.6.6. [14:17]
Lynnwood__close enough... :-)
Would this version of TinyMCEPlugin run on 2.1.4 installation?
[14:17]
gac410Someone reported that they were master TMCE on 2.1.4 ... From a git checkout. Note you also have to run matching WysiwygPlugin
I've not tried it.
[14:19]
Lynnwood__right...
I may give it a try on test installation.
[14:19]
gac410I probably ought to build those two and upload as Extensions/Testing to make it easier
After I pull in tmce 4.6.7 ;)
[14:20]
***zak256 has left [14:21]
gac410Note that the changlog file (not the web version ??) states:
Dropped support for IE 8-10 due to market share and lack of support from Microsoft.
So the latest tmce appears to need IE-11 or Edge.
[14:26]
Lynnwood__interesting. seems reasonable enough although some clients would balk. [14:27]
gac410It was announced in Version 4.6.0 (2017-05-04)
I suppose we could offer a 4.5.3 version maybe as an alternate download. but I don't think it's worth it.
[14:28]
Lynnwood__Nor do i. [14:29]
gac410Ah... it is listed in their public changelog ... My search skills are questionable. [14:30]
Lynnwood__most folks have moved on. I have this one client though (a hospital group) that has fairly ancient hardware. [14:30]

foswiki_irc2im logged in as admin user but cannot see option to remove user
can i remove user thru UI?
[19:17]
gac410foswiki_irc2: Yes, System.RemoveUser
Assuming you are running Foswiki 2.1 ... The old Foswiki 1.x did not have that API
[19:18]
foswiki_irc2thanks. will try to figure it out im really new to this.. [19:20]
gac410Did you find that topic in the System web? RemoveUser ? [19:21]
foswiki_irc2im running ver 2.0
i found it a while ago. lemme find it again
[19:23]
gac410In 2.0, you might have to use System.ManagingUsers. I don't recall when we split RemoveUser out into a separate topic. [19:23]
foswiki_irc2found it
will try to remove user now
successful!
thank you very much :)
